A young couple is the apartment owners who could not come to a consensus for a long time, while choosing the style of a space design, as each of the process participants imagined their future home in their own way. On the one hand, there was a desire to create a minimalist strict design and on the other, there was a preference for traditional motives of classicism. The result of these seemingly incompatible combinations was a very comfortable and finished apartment, reflecting the individual characteristics of its owners, who truly fell in love with the new home after seeing the final result.

Decision

There are a living room combined with a dining room and a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which was formed because of a designing replanning, and the creation of this additional room was one of the most important owners` wishes in the apartment with a total area of ​​123 m². The result of the new planning solution was a quite unusual configuration, in which the second bathroom occupied a part of the kitchen area, and in order to enhance the effect of perception, it was deliberately put on display, replacing one of the walls with a translucent glass. The expressiveness of the idea is emphasized by decorative spros, which geometric pattern is organically duplicated in the windows and balcony doors design.

The composition of the kitchen is completed by a massive bar counter, which serves an additional function of a wine storage, dividing the living room into an area for cooking and relaxing.
Thanks to the stylistic mix, the overall tone of the interior is bright and juicy. Dark wood window frames accentuate the light floors and walls, while the classic white stucco cornice contrasted with the thin black lines of the XAL Move It System track lighting.

The focal point of the living room is a long dining table which clear forms are softened by the well-chosen “WireLine” chandelier from the famous “Flos” Italian brand. It`s design according to the creators, “combines the industrial character of rubber and the sophistication of glass into a single pattern” and it perfectly matches the overall idea of decorating the entire space.

Specialty

The idea of stylistic contrast, however in a softer and more restrained form, is preserved in the bedroom interior. It manifests itself in juxtaposing and combining materials of different texture, bright color denominated inclusions, creating the most calm and comfortable atmosphere for relaxation.
