Apartment in the residential complex Seven, m Kiev
The apartment belongs to a young programmer who loves accuracy, clarity and practicality. These criteria became the starting points before the start of design work and concept development, because as a result the customer wanted to get a functional and comfortable housing, decorated in the style of minimalism.
The plan of the 52 m2 apartment is divided into two rectangular volumes, the first of which includes a hallway, wardrobe and bathroom, and the second - occupies the living room, kitchen, dining room and bedroom.
Initially, the apartment had a completely different planning solution, which divides the area into small segments, which we wanted to get rid of in order to free up and visually expand the space. For this purpose it was necessary to demolish and move all available internal partitions due to what the big multipurpose premise including everything necessary for a comfortable life was created.
Adhering to the basic canons of design of housing on the principle of open space, the apartment turned out bright and spacious, and thanks to the logical zoning - each room is adjusted to the smallest detail.
Despite the openness of planning - private territory provides isolation. That is why the bed is separated from the living room by thick curtains, which can be closed to create comfort, but leaving them crumpled - the room is illusory, creating the effect of lightness and openness.
The central place in the seating area is occupied by a modular sofa Cloud, from the Italian factory Lema, which is loved and chosen for its compactness and mobility, which allows you to change the configuration depending on the wishes and mood.
In fact, it separates the seating area from the cooking area, while combining them into a single stylistically verified picture, giving the room dimension and balance.
An important role in the design of this interior is played by the color scheme, which demonstrates the bright possibilities of gray, used in different variations: from light and cold tones to a rich dark graphite shade. This palette is diluted with a splash of chocolate-brown heat flowing from one room to another, combining them into a single whole.
SEVEN - PROJECT BY ZOOI
Thanks to the competent redevelopment, the apartment, in spite of its compactness, turned out to be spacious and comfortable for life. A minimalistic interior and restrained color scheme only enhances this impression.
